Does the Bike Tech Staff ride bikes?

-Of course we do!  We love bikes and love sharing our passion with new and experienced riders.  The majority of our staff are passionate cyclists, from beginner road riders, to XC racers, to commuters and trail riders.  We have over 100 years of combined cycling and racing experience in our stores.  Stop by and meet our staff soon!


I want to purchase a new bicycle online and pick it up in store, how does that work?

-It's easy.  Once you've selected your new bicycle add it to your cart.  You can then select "Find a store near you" to view the current location of your new bicycle or to have it transferred to a more convenient location at no extra charge.  Create an account or check out as a Guest and our secure checkout will pre-approve your major credit card.  We then prepare your bicycle so it is ready to ride and, if necessary, transfer it to your most convenient location.  Our store manager will then email and/or call when your bicycle is ready.  Please bring the same Credit Card used at checkout and your I.D. when picking up your new bike.  Your credit card is only processed in store at the time of purchase.  If you used Paypal, your payment was processed at Checkout and only your I.D. is needed for pick up. 


What does "In Store Now" mean?

-We have 3 large retail locations(soon to be 4) and also a large warehouse in Miami.  If you see a bicycle in our  "In Store Now" catalog that means it's either in one of our retail locations or our warehouse.  We stock more bicycles than any of our competitors. 


What does "In Supplier Warehouse" mean?

-Our website syncs with our major suppliers like Specialized, Scott, Cannondale, GT and Salsa.  This means the manufacturer has your bicycle in stock and it is available to order.  There is no extra charge for standard shipping and your bicycle will usually arrive in our receiving warehouse in 5-7 business days.  It will then be transferred to your specified store for assembly and once completed our store manager will call and/or email you.  Please bring the same Credit Card used at checkout and your I.D. when picking up your new bike.  Your credit card is only processed in store at the time of purchase.  If you used Paypal, your payment was processed at Checkout and only your I.D. is needed for pick up.


How long does it take to transfer my new bicycle between Bike Tech locations?

-This generally takes less than 3 working days.  Please check your order status for updates.


Do you ship bicycles?

-No, unfortunately we can not ship your new bicycle.  If you plan to ship your own bicycle and need it packaged, we do offer an excellent packing service.  We've packaged thousands of bicycles that have traveled all over the world.  Please check our Services page for more info.


Can I get sponsored by Bike Tech?

-We do have Bike Tech Ambassadors that help promote our brand at local events.  Our team is currently full, but check back again for opportunities to join our Bike Tech Ambassador Team.
